I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but now call Chicago home. Growing up, camping and backpacking trips were always the highlight of my summers. Whether it was a quiet weekend at a local statepark with my parents or camping along Lake Superior with friends, the outdoors has always held a special place in my heart.
Even now, working in finance hasn’t dulled that urge to seek out new places. Traveling has become a growing part of my life, offering the chance to discover different landscapes, cultures, and perspectives. Although my list explored countries isn’t the longest, it grows every year.
My interest in photography began in college when I stumbled across an old film camera at a thrift store. What started as a pastime and a fun party trick quickly became a passion. I loved the process, from the anticipation of waiting for film to be developed to the unpredictability of the results and the joy of capturing fleeting moments. Photography has become my way to slow down, notice the world, and document the people and places I encounter along the way, preserving the experiences that make each destination unique.
This website is a collection of those journeys and moments, a record of the places I’ve explored and the perspectives they’ve given me. I hope they inspire you to see the world a little differently.
